# Use of Body Camera

Bodycams can be worn and used for *in character* reasons (evidence, etc). For video to be deemed as bodycam it has to meet one of the following criteria:

1. Taking out your phone and using "/me starts recording"
2. Having a vest with a body camera item on it
3. Being within a reasonable proximity of a vehicle to deem the footage as "dash cam" footage

{% hint style="warning" %}
If you do not meet at least one of the above referenced criteria, you CANNOT use the footage for in character means.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
The above rule does not have an effect on reporting purposes.
{% endhint %}
