# Initiation

Initiation is **REQUIRED** any time a shootout or criminal scenario takes place. You cannot approach anyone and shoot without saying anything - this would be considered Fail RP (gunplay over roleplay) and potentially RDM or VDM. Saying “hey” or minimal word sentences is **NOT** considered initiation. Use your judgment and know that initiation is required anytime a scene with shooting/looting, etc. is taking place (this rule is different for gang on gang - like gang wars ; see gang rules where applicable).

{% hint style="warning" %}
Disclaimer - "Y" is NOT a form of initiation in itself but can be used as a means to get your shit rocked for talking smack on the internet.
{% endhint %}
