HF06 - Unlawful Possession of Excessive Amounts of Species
Any person or entity found to be in possession on their person or in their vehicle of an excessive quantity of species, whether living or deceased, without proper authorization.
Excessive wildlife is defined as an amount that exceeds legal limits established for personal, commercial, or conservation purposes, posing a threat to ecological balance, biodiversity, or public safety.
Businesses can apply for a special wildlife license that gives them the right to carry more items listed here for their business only. Wildlife Transport License Request *This can be verified under the Emergency Services website in the Wildlife Transport License section.
