# HF06 - Excessive Amounts

### <mark style="color:orange;">HF06 - Unlawful Possession of</mark> <mark style="color:orange;"></mark><mark style="color:orange;">**Excessive Amounts of Species**</mark>

Any person or entity found to be in possession on their person or in their vehicle of an **excessive quantity** of species, whether living or deceased, without proper authorization.

**Excessive wildlife** is defined as an amount that exceeds legal limits established for personal, commercial, or conservation purposes, posing a threat to ecological balance, biodiversity, or public safety.
