# GF20 -  Possession/Unlawful use of Government Equipment (f)

### <mark style="color:orange;">GF20 -</mark> Possession/Unlawful use of Government Issued Weapons (f)

It is illegal to possess a government-owned or issued Taser or Beanbag Shotgun, without being a duly sworn Peace Officer, who is currently on-duty or off-duty. This includes the Tasers or any weaponthat Law Enforcement Officers purchase for their sworn daily duties. This excludes individuals who have been granted permission, in writing, to carry a government issued weapon.&#x20;
