🔴Triage
During large scenes with multiple injuries, emergency personnel may triage patients to prioritize treatment and transports.
Red (Immediate):
Severe injuries but high potential for survival with treatment. First to be treated (ie: GSW to Chest, ABD, or head, Altered level of or consciousness, and missing limbs)
Yellow (Delayed):
Serious injuries but not immediately life-threatening. (ie: GSW to the legs, arm, or shot in the vest. Non-life-threatening injuries)
Green (Minor):
Minor injuries (Walking wounded) Someone who can walk and move around.
Black (dead):
Unlikely to survive injuries or have expired from their injuries. **Last to be treated
