# Overdose/Alcohol Poisoning/Poisoning

{% hint style="info" %} <mark style="color:yellow;">**Overdose:**</mark> Consuming, using, or ingesting a large amount of narcotics

<mark style="color:yellow;">**Alcohol Poisoning:**</mark> Consuming a vast amount of alcohol&#x20;

<mark style="color:yellow;">**Unknown Poisoning:**</mark> Ingesting an uncontrolled/controlled substance not meant for human consumption (household cleaners, gas, toxic vapors etc)

Symptoms:

* Emotionally unstable
* Angry
* Possibly violent or upset
* Passing out or unresponsive&#x20;
* Foaming at the mouth
* Uncontrollable body shakes
* Death
* Shock
* Elevated or lowered heart rate
* Respiratory Distress
* Diaphoretic&#x20;
* Nausea/Vommiting
* Slurred speech
* Blacking out

* Narcan (only for overdose)
* Check Vitals
