🚗Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)

Anytime you're involved in an MVA your injuries can range from none to life-threatening.

Minor MVA

  • Bruising (this does not include dark, large bruising which indicates internal bleeding)

  • Minor Lacerations (cuts on the skin surface with minimal bleeding)

  • Scrapes aka Abrasions (minor, with little to no bleeding, may have minor debris)

Major MVA

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (confusion, pupil issue, bleeding, loss of consciousness etc)

  • Back Injury (broken, fractured etc)

  • Whiplash (soreness, unable to move)

  • Broken Bones

  • Internal Injuries (internal bleeding will be dark purple bruising)

  • Burns (see burns section)

  • Concussion (confusion, loss of consciousness etc)

  • Trauma

  • Loss of limbs (small to large limbs)

  • Headaches (major headaches)
