# SASP Application Info

> This policy outlines how a person applies to be a Trooper within the San Andreas State Police. All persons wanting to join the department must follow and qualify to the statements below prior to application.

Any person within the state will have the option to apply for this department. A person applying shall meet the qualifications prior to submission:

* The person shall not have a criminal record with the State of San Andreas.
* The person shall be an approved resident of the State.
* The person shall be of good moral character.
* The person shall display respect for others regardless of background.

A person is disqualified from apply for the following conditions, not limited to:

* The person has a criminal record excluding Traffic Violations.
* The person has affiliation with a known criminal organization.
* The person is under an active investigation by the S.A.S.P.
* The person presents behavior that is a liability to the department.

### <mark style="color:orange;">How to Apply</mark>

A person can apply via discordia at any time through the automated system. Those applications will only be accessible to high command members of the department. A person must answer each question to the satisfaction of high command in order to be eligible to proceed to the interview phase of the application.&#x20;

It shall be noted moving onto the interview phase does not mean you have the job. All applicants must pass the interview prior to being fully employed within the San Andreas State Police. Upon successful completion of the interview, you shall be informed of your rank, callsign, and provided the necessary tools in order to effectively do your job within the department.
