Requirements

  • Citizens disputing a ticket must appear in Traffic Court

Scope

  • Only tickets that have been issued may be contested in court

Undisputed Ticket Removal

Eligibility

  • Applicable to tickets older than 30 days.

  • The citizen must not have received any additional tickets within the 30-day period prior to the removal request.

Process

  • Complete the “Ticket Removal Request” form.

  • A processing fee of $2,000 per ticket must be paid to the State.

Judicial Discretion

  • A Judge may require the citizen to attend Traffic Court for additional information or mandate attendance at traffic school as a condition for ticket removal.
